It's just to help his conditioning.

Toros play their last game of the regular season today and they are out of the playoffs. Both Green and Butler should be called back tomorrow.

I wouldn't be opposed to Green taking RJ's spot in the rotation. Won't happen, but RJ has regressed that badly.

Except Butler hasn't played in two opportunities ... how much conditioning do you get when you sit on the bench the entire game?

Two different situations. Butler was signed for next year, hes still rehabbing.

I don't think they can because he is a "veteran", I think that is in the CBA, correct me if I am wrong though.

It is a conditioning assignment for Green. For Butler, I guess Spurs thought that Toros were a better place for him to work on his rehab.

Danny Green had 19 points, seven rebounds, six fouls in Toros season-finale last night. He's been recalled to the Spurs.

Butler was in street clothes last night. Not done with rehab.

Ryan Richards was sitting next to him.

Green looked good out there he played with a lot of heart and hit some open threes.

Green is everything everyone thought Hairston could be. He harassed the shit out of Roy in the Portland game. He's also not afraid to shoot the three ball like Malik was.
