Butler figured out that press and game over. Also, VCU wore down at the end. Missed 3 or 4 easy layups to make this a game down the stretch but all that full court press early in the game wore them down. Shouldn't have pressed all game and waited for the 2nd half to keep your guys fresh.

While the NCAA prefers to call its stars "student-athletes," it's hit and miss on the "student" portion with the most elite athletes. The phrase is often a farce but it applies to Knight. According to more than one account, Knight had a GPA above 4 in high school and he currently continues to take academics seriously.

"I put a lot of priority on it," Knight said. "I make sure I'm taking it seriously. I've always taken it seriously as I've grown up." Knight has not yet declared a major at Kentucky: "I'm trying to figure that out."

Still, I'm sure his major is focused on "Leaving Early to the NBA". I know that's what I would do.
