Early in the season when they were steamrolling everyone and LA looked mediocre, I had a moment when I thought they could make it out of the West, but sill lose to Boston in the Finals...although I don't think Boston will come out of the East now either with no reliable inside presence.

I think they have a good shot at making it to the WCFs (even with the way they've been playing lately) but there is no way the Spurs beat LA unless there is a major collapse in La La Land. At the same time, I'd still be worried about facing Memphis if they get matched up in the 1st round. I really don't think the Spurs have an answer outside of Duncan (who can't do it on his own) for Memphis' ability to score down low, and over the course of a 7 game series that is a huge factor.

EDIT: Not saying I'd bet against the Spurs if they play Memphis, but rather that no Spurs' fans should be surprised to see that series stretch out to 7 games. MEM is playing great ball right now, and I don't think anyone in the West wants them in round 1.
