Lakers on a 3 game skid, does this hurt their confidence going into the playoffs?

They were riding high after the all star break but now they are back to pre-ASG level. They aren't coasting or they wouldn't be playing their starters, starter minutes.

What's the deal with these Lakers?

seems like the second the spurs beat the suns and sealed the deal for the 1st seed the lakers decided to turn off the energy

they could lose every game left in the regular season and they'd still be the favorites, tbh.

They were coastin pre ASG and they're probably coastin now as well.

Yep. Not a problem. Lakers lost 4 of their last 7 games last year too. PJ playing mind games and sending messages to the bigs the last two games. Congrats to the Spurs for the in season victory. Well deserved :toast

They lost those games without Bynum and with HCA in the West all tied up...

But whatever makes you rest easier at night :lol

In before the litany of excuses.

That will be the talk of ESPN tomorrow, "are the Lakers struggles something to worry about heading into the playoffs?" Then the numerous ass kissers will rush to their defense with the usual barrage of excuses, pretend they're fine and that they're unbeatable, don't fear no one and no one wants a piece of them in the playoffs.

They're the ****ing Lake Show, dude.

They get confidence just putting on those ugly-ass uniforms.

Even the Van X-Eddie Jones teams probably thought they were the biggest bad-asses in the league just because they were the Lake Show.

Lakersground obsession with HCA against BOS/MIA is like Spurstalk obsession with Bonner/Splitter. All meaningless in the big picture, but "group think" has polluted and destroyed both boards.

Really people, they saw the Spurs go 0-6, and said to themselves. "We're the Lakers, anything you can do, we can do better!" So they're shooting for 0-7...

& the 2nd 3 Peat of the Century.

I'm going to have to check your posts to see if this is a direct copy of anything you've previously posted.

You're treading on thin ice. If you and dpg were on speaking terms he'd let you know how close you're getting to being Culburn369 (http://spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=17061)'d again.

the Lakers were just trying to stay ahead of the mavs...if they really wanted to catch the Spurs...they would have played hard from the beggining of the season.

Because the Lakers and everyone else pegged the Spurs for winning the #1 seed right?

Non issue. The Spurs went out & hit some 3's in the first few months of the season. Spurfan will go back into meltdown mode when POP plays his best friend Bonner big minutes in the playoffs. :lol
