That's been the nine-man rotation since Anderson went down in November. There's every reason to expect it to remain the same for playoffs.

I believe is not game to game but series to series. Regardless of that, you are right, it will change depending on matchups and injuries. I believe all 5 big men will be active because otherwise an injury to any of them would leave us very thin upfront. Same goes for the PG spot. Quinn will always be the 12th man.

I believe is not game to game but series to series. Regardless of that, you are right, it will change depending on matchups and injuries. I believe all 5 big men will be active because otherwise an injury to any of them would leave us very thin upfront. Same goes for the PG spot. Quinn will always be the 12th man.

Even though the grumpy old SOB may seem senile and drunk half of the time, he's not stupid...I'm sure he understand Splitter's value...I think (okay, I'm hoping) that Splitter's erratic PT is more due to Pop's belief that Splitter (due to his experience as a pro and in big games) is much more capable of handling the erratic minutes than Blair...and he's just trying to build up Blair's confidence and will play Splitter as matchups dictate...

I know...I can definitely see the eyerolls out there...

And my post count just hit 666...I guess it's fitting that I'm playing the devil's advocate...

The playoff rosters expanded past 12 for the 2006 playoffs, when teams were allow to carry 1 inactive. The inactive was declared per game.

The next year (2007 playoffs), the NBA started carrying over the regular season roster regulations, so they currently function exactly like the regular season (except the players not eligible for playoffs, such as those waived after Mar 1st, IIRC).

Teams have to submit their 12 active players to the refs before each game, so it can change for any game.

I stand corrected. Thanks. Then we don't need Quinn to be active as PG insurance at all, so the 12th man would be Novak, followed by Green if an injury occurs.

We all know what the rotation will be like, though, unless Pop surprises us all and plays Splitter a ton of minutes, and Anderson/Novak will only play garbage time unless they're desperate.

Hopefully Pop surprises and shuts all of us up by playing Splitter more, but I doubt it. And I would love to see Novak out there if Bonner is having a horrible night, like going 0-4 from 3 or something (Which will probably be like every night). :lol

Lol people calling for Novak. If you think Bonners defense and rebounding ability are bad then you must have never seen Novak play. Novak should only see the floor if we are down 3 with 10 seconds left in the game and not for bringing in the ball. More Tiago...yes, Novak... definitely not.

Of course I would take Tiago over Bonner and Blair anyday, I'm just saying since Pop is so intent on playing Bonner because he "stretches the floor," whats the point in having him out there if he goes 0-5 from 3 in a half or something like that? Might as well give Novak a chance to drain some shots....
