Strange choice IMHO. Although Minecraft has already sold over 2 million copies in Beta form, I dont see how launching the same day as Skyrim helps Notch.
Then gain, according to Notch, the game wont be much different that it is right now.... its mainly just a "rally cry" of sorts and the removal of the "beta" tag.
