watching the NBA combine and Shumpert really intrigues me.

I didn't see him play much in college, but have read he is a terrible shooter

That being said, athletically he looks heads and shoulders above the rest of the prospects he was working out with. Also during the defensive drills dude looks legit.

If he was able to develop a semblance of a jump shot he looks like he could have the size and athleticism to be a good defender. The next Bruce Bowen is thrown around too much, so I won't go that far, but he would be a solid role player.

Obvious other downside is he would fall into the same catagory of tweeners we have that play the 2-3 position. None of which are really big or long enough to be a true 3.

other opinions on him? am I completely off on this dude?

This kid is the ultimate tweener...6'4, 6'9 arm span, above average athlete, can play the 1 or 2 positions. I will wait a little bit to see if he would be a good fit, but I really like his measurements..

Poor man's Rondo.

Rondo is much shorter, not nearly as good an athlete, and is a true pg...Not seeing the comparison.
