What would you know, you've never even completed the first half of a back2back chip.

That is an offensive troll. Even if Cobbler is a liar and welsher, that goes too far IMHO.

Well, as long as you are guaranteeing it I guess the NBA can skip that series...

He's right. The Mavs shouldn't have any trouble with a David West-less Hornets team.

Dallas is half assing it right now. Its looking like a Dallas/Portland 1st round. Both teams rely on a lot of jumpshooting so it could go either way but I still favor Dallas since Portland looks like a deer in headlights on the road.

Check my math on this, but wouldn't the Mavs get to decide their opponent if the Hornets split their next 2 and head into Wednesday night? Hornets can make up that 1/2 game difference with Portland with the extra game against Dallas on the last night of the season. Though I think there needs to be a little rigging with the NO and PORT matchups with Memphis ahead.

Are you saying Portland looks like a deer standing on the road with headlights in it's eyes, or are you saying that, on the road, Portland looks like a deer in headlights?

Dallas is bred for one reason...and we all know what that is.

I hope that's the matchup. I want no part of Denver or Portland.

What's so special about Portland?

Aldridge's production is close to Dirk's, and after that, their guys 2-8 are much better than our guys 2-8.

I agree with Findog. This is not Mavs hate, but Portland beats DAL IMO.

If they were so much better they wouldn't have an inferior record and inferior margin of victory :smokin

Portland ain't gonna have a perpetual hard on like last night. Wallace will go back to drifting thru a ball-game one after another, Aldridge will go back to drifting thru a ball-game one after another, and Dallas will load up.
If these two meet I'll bet anybody anything.

just the lesser one of two evils imho. Hornets-Mavs would be 50-50 chance imo but i'd have my money on the hornets. the hornets thrashed the mavs in 08, hopefully TC would make a change this time if they took them again this year.
griz be the only matchup i see the mavs have a better odd of winning tbh

i'd just wish they could win 1 or 2 games if they took on the blazers. would be good results only if they could avoid sweeping tbh.
I thought this thread was a bump from 2007, tbh.
