Bonner for Bosh, do it Pop!

I don't see them getting Bynum or Noah for Bosh. Who else could they target to be a rebounder and an interior presence on the defensive end? I guess they could trade for Oden, lol.

They won't trade him..the much improved Sammy Dalembert is almost a lock to join the Heat next year, he will cover the Heat's deficiency at C..

It would make Wade and Bron mega butthurt. Heat aren't that dumb. It'd have to be some no brainer like trade.

I wonder if they could get Amare for him...

Their problems would still persist if they did.

They should have gone after Dirk and hard.

I'd like to see who is interested in his contract, and what teams would want to give up for him when he's proved this year that he's not much more than a jump shooting big man. Still a hell of a player, but not exactly worth his paycheck.

Do you guys also think maybe just maybe ric was being sarcastic ?

It's an interesting proposition. Bosh doesn't really fill a role that's not already being filled. He's not a legit center, he's not a great PF, he's only a decent rebounder and doesn't defend well.

Bosh for Nash and Gortat. Who says no?

The Suns. Nash is the only reason they stay afloat at all.

Great deal for Miami. Terrible deal for Phoenix.

1 - Why would Phoenix want Bosh for $145M when they didn't want Amar'e for $100M?

2 - Why are they going to give up Nash (their biggest draw for fans) to bring back a guy who is an overpaid secondary piece that they can't really build around?

3. Gortat is our most untouchable piece right now.

If Ric Bucher ever gave some real insider information, it would be the first time. He's got as much credibility as Hoopsworld.

1 - Why would Phoenix want Bosh for $145M when they didn't want Amar'e for $100M?
Well they wanted Turkoglu for $40M, Frye for $30M, Warrick for $20M, and Childress for $35M, after saying Amare for $92M was too much, so don't expect that logic to go with every other player.

2 - Why are they going to give up Nash (their biggest draw for fans) to bring back a guy who is an overpaid secondary piece that they can't really build around?
Because building around overpaid secondary pieces is what the Suns have been doing for 43 years.

Bosh is signed for $118 million I think. Also, he doesn't have knee problems which is the supposed reason they didn't sign Amare.

The Knicks are known for the most extensive medical testing out of any team for incoming free agents. If they didn't find a problem, there wasn't one. Sarver used Amare's knee as a front and excuse not to pay him.

Well I remember reading that the doctor who performed his surgery predicted he would need it again in a few years.

not that they will, but they would

It's been close to 6 years since the surgery and so far the only other surgeries have been his eye/other knee.

I know that Sarver is a shitty owner who ruined his team. I just thought he was being safe not signing Amare because of the injury. It doesn't make sense to me that he was saving money, because he just went out and spent almost the same amount on scrubs. Of course he could just be a fucking idiot...

Kyle Orton
04-09-2011, 03:50 PM
:lol that's what he is, a fucking idiot. It's that simple. He has a bunch of actions that contradict one another because he's clueless about how to run an NBA team and has absolutely no idea about what to do next. Assuming there is one, I can't wait to see what happens this off season because I doubt Sarver has the faintest idea about what he's gonna do.

Did he inherit his money or earn it himself?

Technically he earned it himself, but it was a bank his daddy bought for him, so it's not like hes ever accomplished jackshit as a businessman on his own :lol
