60 wins is 60 wins. It may not be classy wins but they reached 60, and they were contending with Boston, and Miami who were projected to win 70. Why you hatin'? You scared they might pull the rug under the Spurs' best record?

They have the best record in the league vs .500 teams. That says something.

Oh, Gee!!

Who said they aren't good? 60 wins in the EC is nothing to brag about. If the Spurs were in the EC, they would have a 70+ win ecstacy.

I dont like playing the if game but if the Spurs were in the East chances are they would be no better then an East team.

You just cant take an already established West team and try to put it on the East. You never know how things would play out.

Anyhow, Bulls are just winning the games they are suppose to win, playing the teams they are suppose to play and so on.

Any win is a quality win.

IIRC a while ago someone like Hollinger figured out that the SOS difference between West and East wasn't nearly so great as conventional wisdom said it was. And this was back when the disparity between the conferences was much greater -- around 2002.

He claimed the difference was only enough for about 2 games swing either way for teams switching schedules. That's significant because usually that's the difference between the 8 and 9 team in a conference, but that would make the Spurs a 64-win team at best.

probably not 60 wins, but I'd say the vast majority of people were expecting a 50 win season out of the Bulls.

But with Noah and Boozer in and out of the lineup, it was hard to imagine that they would even win 50

If they were complete and healthy since day 1, I could have imagined them winning 50, 55 tops.

Bulls injury woes at the start of the season really obscured how talented they are, and no one would ahve realized how well they would mesh or how good Rose really is (where's that dumbass Allanon and his anti-Rose talk now?)
