Damn I hope the Mavs lose one or both of the games they have left. Okc has a great chance at taking this team out and it would be a shame for the Lakers to not have to play both the Spurs and Okc.

OKC is playing the best of any team in the West right now. I think they would beat the Lakers if they matched up in the playoffs.

That's the problem with OKC. They have no poise when the pressure is ramped up. The bench did a great job of spreading the ball and knocking down open shots. Now Kobe hits a shot/the crowd gets into it and Durant/Westbrook become chuckers...sad

It's so funny how Tim skunked Kobe the first time they met in the playoffs. Not many people know that.

It's one thing to skunk someone when you have ammo; to avenge something. It's something else entirely to walk up to someone you don't know and skunk the shit out of them when nothing before has transpired. Nothing else matters after that. Even a back to back skunker like Kobe suffered in 98-99.

Nah, real talk DPG. When i have i complained about the refs? I think i remember 1 game thread where we went back in forth about one call on Kobe being a foul (Utah game perhaps?) but I have NEVER ever used refs as an excuse for a loss.

BTW I dont give two shits whether or not you think im not a good poster (DPG doesnt like me boo-hoo) but if you are going to say I am not one at least say it with "just cause". Disagreeing about a call/no call is different then making ref excuses ... which many of Spur fans do daily.

Not much gets under my skin but dont class me with the lower base of Spur/Laker fans that believe refs are against them Despite 9 of the last 11 titles ...

I wont post here for a week if you can find proof of me making ref excuses ...you can go back as far as you like.

Why does everyone just skip over this? I mean, it is like a Roswell secret and people just ignore it.

If it happened to Bryant pre '08, then it no longer counts . . . unless it's his overinflated reputation in the clutch/role on their early aughts championships. Everything else has apparently been washed away from the vast majorities minds. Bryant benefits more from revisionist history than anyone I can think of in the history of North American professional sports.

Hi Killakobe.

Huh? LOL if you think that's me ...ROFL.

I have no trolls. Personally I think that is a waste of time ...though a few on here are good at it.

There is no denying 5>4, but who gets the credit as the main man is another thing entirely.

But Kobe got skunked by Tim before it all began, so that is all that matters.

Not entirely:::The Suns laid The Skunker on you.
