Multiple reasons for his struggles and health isn't a part of it.

1) Doesn't have confidence in his jumpshot every game. Some games he will, some games he won't.

2) Doesn't have enough perimeter shooters around him. Hornets can't spread the floor effectively making it difficult for him to penetrate. Only one reliable 3-point shooter in Belinelli and that's it. In the past, the team would have 5-6 reliable 3-point shooters.

3) Team doesn't run the pick-n-roll as much as now. Paul thrives on it as it allows him to create better. Now the Hornets run motion sets forcing others to create, even though not too many reliable scorers.
