I thought Vlade was the Master but Manu takes the cake. Manu flops on defense and offense which is a whole new low. Don't get me wrong I think he is a superstar in the making but good lord he makes you want to throw your beer at the tv. If you can get away with it why not right?. I don't know. If Manu is the standard for flopping this could create a whole new epidemic of floppers and soft Euro league type play in a already what is getting softer NBA. IMO I don't think it's good for the game, but I'm on the opposing team so that's just my persepective. I blame it more on those clowns we call refs than it is Manu. What are the Spurs fans feelings on this?

We should add Fisher to this list.

In computer language:

if (Manu = flopper),
then (Kobe = rapist)
else (lakers=suck ass)

I don't think you can call Manu a "soft Euro player." Have you ever seem him get thrown to the ground and get right back up? Most of the American players couldn't take that kind of punishment.

If you've cheered for anyone, ever taking a charge..than your a damn hypocrite.

Taking a charge almost always involve Flopping. And people cheer and call it a smart play.

Are you mad cause Manu is just better at it, or does it on other fouls besides charging?

And if you say "flopping on a charge is different than taking it on any other type of foul"....than not only are you a damn hypocrite, but a damn idiot as well.

I think Manu's reputation as a flopper is overstated. Unlike some of the more notorious floppers of the past, Manu will usually draw a real foul first (Amare incident notwithstanding). I'm not a fan of any of the flopping/flailing even when Spurs are involved, but the only kind of flopping that I really dislike is when a player creates the impression of a foul when none occurred.

Oh, and I completely disagree with taking a charge being considered a flop. Have you ever tried getting hit by a 200 pound athlete and keeping your feet in position?

I think you should be allowed one flop for each time you get hammered and the ref looks the other way. On that score Manu is still way behind. Comparing Manu to Vlade is like comparing a gold bar to a pile of monkey shit.

On a side note RobertHorry4three have you noticed that ever since Horry took off the purple and gold and put on the black and silver he's no longer the flop artist that he was with the Lakers.

We are feeling that you need to STFU and go back to LG, we've discussed this in at least 20 threads.

You have taken spelling to a "hole" new level!
How is what I brought up trolling? I gave Manu his props along with some criticism and you guys come back with third grade responses. You say we suck but we had one bad year and you forget that through the lottery is how you got D Robinson and TD. Forget about all the Championships we won in our history and how many times we kicked your asses. I admit that we suck right now but let the history of the organization speak for itself.

RH43, since you are an Horry fan, aren't you rooting for the Spurs? If so, why are you bagging on one of Horry's best teammates?

in my opinion Manu as a player is highly skilled, and is naturally the source of mixed criticism. The Media , Sore losers, and frustrated opponents is where the majority of the accusations stem from. As far as the over use of the "skill" flopping. I would have to disagree. I truely do not deny he does it, but simply saying that his only intension is to flop when contested is completely false. He plays hard for a seriously undersized player(compared to the opponents he runs into or gets ran over by). As far as the whole "soft"euro league type of play. I think you have it a bit backward. The euro is far tougher then the NBA, and frankly the way MANU plays with so much intensity is pretty much the norm in europe. Coupled with the fact that the FANS in europe are for more rowdier then the states. To the point it like the Indy /palace fan scenario quite frequently. Again just my opinion.
