Manu is a great player and had a good year. But for about 1 month to 11/2 months of poor shooting, it would not be as absurd.

However, giving Rose the MVP makes no sense. The Bulls play in a cupcake division and conference. The sucky really suck in the east.

I would give the award to either Kobe, James or Durant.

You'd give it to James, who plays in the sucky suck East, but not to Rose? I'm gonna assume you haven't seen any Bulls games this year.

Rose is alright. I'd rather see Durant get it though.

Unbelievable that Dwight Howard got only 2 MVP votes.

Not this year, OKC wasn't legit till Perkins came on board. Rose has beasted all year while Noah and Booz missed significant time--all this while holding off the Heat and Celtics. Rose is top dog this year.

I used to always like Dr. Jack as a kid. Sad to see this.

Rose is clearly behind Howard no matter how you look at it in my book.

hahaha I saw those too, Bruce picking George was the one that really cracked me up. I mean, I love Bruce, I love George, but thats as big of a homer pick as there is. Hill has no business even being in the 6th man discussion, it would even be easy to argue that Neal has been more valuable in that role this season than Hill (1.5 fewer points in 7.5 fewer minutes, similar fg% and a much better % from three), whose minutes are comparable to those of our starters. I've been disappointed in Hill's development this year, he hasnt played poorly by any means but he hasnt made the strides I was hoping for, especially in terms of scoring. His twelve or so a game isnt that bad I was just expecting a lot more of those big, 20+ nights from him and other than having strung together some impressive performances over the last couple weeks as the season winds down and other guys get some rest that just hasnt been the case. Last year in that Dallas series he really impressed me though, so come playoff time I'm hoping we get to see him rise to the occasion and be more assertive offensively, we needa get points from someone other than the big three and open three point shooters, and Hill can provide that. Lord knows RJ wont be.

It's very close between Rose/Howard/Nowitzki.

Pop doesn't deserve any of those COY picks - he's doomed the Spurs by failing to integrate Splitter. It wouldn't have taken much to rest Dice on back-to-backs and the big man rotation would be much stronger in the playoffs instead of being weak compared to the other elite contenders.

I love Manu, but Ramsey's pick is crazy. Manu is not even clear-cut MVP of the Spurs.

The heat play in the hardest division in the east. They have Orlando and Atlanta to play against.

The second best team to the Bulls is the mighty Pacers with a .457 winning percentage. I am going to presume you have not seen many of their division games. FYI they are 15-1 against their crappy division.

I am not saying that Rose isn't a great player. I am saying that the Bulls record does not impress me because they get so many easy games this year. The talent in that division would make most NBA stars look good. I think the Spurs only lost one game to that division and the loss was to the Bulls in Chicago. I believe they smoked the rest of the division.

I love articles like these, it further shows the stupidity of using "coaches, experts, NBA people" as your arguments..

Keith Bogans is such a good defender, that the Bulls' defense is 5 points worse when he's on the floor:lol..also, his adj. +/- is -3.56, which is the worst of any Bulls rotation player..

Manu isn't the MVP of the Spurs this season, Parker has been IMO..

It's very close between Rose/Howard/Nowitzki.

Howard's been great but all the technicals sealed his fate. Dirk has a good case too since both him and Rose carried their teams, but Rose and the Bulls went from being .500 last year to #1 in the East (with a 4-game lead to boot). He's the best player on what might end up being the best team.

Not too unbelievable..how valuable are you when you let yourself get 18 technical fouls and are suspended from a very important game? That had to look bad on him.
