Spurs Finals GTG Schedule

It's very difficult to get a place to reserve space for a big group during the Finals. Here's what I've come up with. If you don't like it .. sorry :) Please RSVP in this thread for which GTG's you are attending.

Game One - Thursday, June 9th 8:00pm

They are located in the Quarry across from Starbucks.
I have space reserved for the group, but need to give them a more definitive number. They are showing the game on plasmas, as a well as a huge projector. You will need to arrive at around 7:30pm. The reservation is under my name -- Kori Ellis.

Game Two - Sunday, June 12th 8:00pm

Firehouse's service sucks this late in the playoffs. They don't employ enough waitstaff. We had all the playoff GTG's there last season.

Game four will either be at my house .. or maybe somewhere downtown.

I have heard of some flaky excuses to get out of going to a GTG but this one is the best. it's almost as bad as Pooh saying he can't go cuz one of his tires on his 1984 honda accord has to much air. :lmao

It's pretty big. Fatso's is even bigger. Both have plenty of "Big screen" action to watch the game. I'm not sure either one of them reserves space for large groups though.

Just how many people are we talking about? I could call tomorrow and find out if I had a rough estimate.

Nobody really likes Fatso's except you :lol and they won't reserve for a group.

But ask the Wing place if they'd ever reserve for a group of 30-40, maybe for a game later in the Finals.

I don't really "like" Fatso's either but it's semi-close (within 10-15 minutes) to where I live. And like I said, I've had good luck watching Spurs games there. But I prefer Buffalo Wild Wings. I love their Wings.

Their web site says, "Feel free to pull some tables together and enjoy yourself with friends". Or something to that effect. Who knows. They just might be willing to let ya do it. I'll call and check it out tomorrow.

People are meeting before tonight's game at the SBC Center at Headlines at 7PM. We are also meeting at halftime tonight in the main lobby outside section 101. And I believe we are going out after the game, but I haven't figured that out.
