yeah realitys overrated. It was a foul, in all truth, but it would have been cool if he had put it down then he could have came off with the and one. ill take foul shots with bonner as long as he gets up to attempt the dunk instead of that awkward shit where he drives into the lane, entirely turning his body away from the defender, only to cough up the ball or attempt an awkward floater/baby hook shot.

It's not about percentages. He needs to shoot when he gets it, and if he defers, he needs to come out. If he shoots even under pressure and does decent, that's ok because the opponent knows he's going to shoot.

At the beginning of the season people ignored him and he was going off on them, his confidence soared and he was dropping buckets 8' outside the arc. They started closing out and he started putting the ball on the floor. Now they don't even close out any more, they just act like they are going to, and get 12' from the guy and he goes all rainman and freaks out. They know he's not shooting well and he's self conscious about it, and second guessing himself. He needs to let it fly just to get them to take him seriously. After that it's all up to the basketball gods.
