Translation of the quote:

«If the conflict lasts, I think i'll come back in France to play, so that my fans can see me close, explained Parker this Sunday in "Le Parisien". I could play for a huge Euroleague team, but I don't want. I already had my share of glory and titles. So if lock-out lasts, I'll surely play in Villeurbane»
(ASVEL/Villeurbane being the BB team he partially owns)

I'd rather have him play for a Euroleague big gun

I'd rather have him not playing at all...

well... if there's a lock-out, i don't see how this could be problematic since European leagues schedule around 30 games per season

I agree. However, Parker's skill is predicated on his speed. I don't need him playing in some BS league that may cause him some injury.

Yeah, right, he'll be better off doing nothing for a year, that surely will imprive his skills.

Tony is a competitor, and every experience he gets makes him better.

He can't. He's under contract with the Spurs and thus I'm sure its against FIBA rules to play for a Euro pro team even with a lockout. I don't think he can even play with his team.

Nope, here are Stern's words:

“If in fact there's a lockout, then the player is free during the course of the lockout to do what he wants to do, if his contract is in effect... You know, if we have a collective bargaining relationship with the union and there's a lockout, then last time around, players were free to do what they're going to do, because they've been locked out."

Take this possible European tour as a all inclusive training camp. Injuries happen everywhere at anytime (Pop tanking the last 2 games and Manu getting injured nevertheless...)

Interesting. So, if they go sign with a Euroleague team and they sign a multiyear contract which contract takes precedent when the lockout is over>

i guess they could sign flexible contracts in Europe allowing them to come back as soon as the lock out ends

well, if there's no Spurs game next season; watching spurs players in European Leagues would be better than nothing right?
