surprised Pop didnt sit the starters! LOL - They might get hurt sometime.....
SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs guard Manu Ginobili won't play in Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Ginobili
Coach Gregg Popovich says he is taking no chances after his All-Star sprained his right elbow in the regular-season finale. George Hill will start in Ginobili's place Sunday.
Popovich said Ginobili wasn't happy about the decision. He wouldn't speculate whether Ginobili would be ready for Game 2 on Wednesday.
Ginobili is San Antonio's second-leading scorer, averaging 17.4 points.
The 33-year-old practiced with the Spurs on Saturday, and his teammates thought Ginobili would likely play.

I don't give a shit today. We are the number one seed in the West playing the eight seed. We are missing our second best player (who's been pretty ineffective lately) and they are missing their franchise player. There won't be any asterisks if we lose this series. Time to nut up and play basketball. Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, Richard Jefferson, Neal, Blair, McDyess. If we can't make short work of the Grizz, then let it be done so I can start putting my energy into OKC over the Lakers next round.

I agree - no more short step back threes from Manu until his elbow is at least 90%.
Hopefully Hill can be agressive and not regress any.

I guess someone else is going to have to step up with a flurry of ill-timed, step-back bricks and spastic turnovers down the stretch...
Just joshin' - but seriously, a game one loss is not good. Get well soon.

Well, Bonner will at least cover the missed threes.
