Is this the same thread as the other one on the front page :lol?
These aren't those Spurs. They don't have their big 3 in their prime. They don't defend. This has no bearing on what happened today.
Spurs should still win this series, but this point is silly.

THISSpurs team has but has not learned to overcome this yet.
This is a different team than those others of the past, they were built on "D", this one is centered on the offense.

Actually Manny, I think you're way off. We still could win the series, but it's more like 2006.
Play small ball, leave real bigs on the bench, win a hard fought first round series and get wasted in the second round.
It's come full circle. The decline started with small ball and could end up that way.

I DO not CARE WHAT THEY'VE DONE before - I care NOW - Manu is NOT playing, you fool!!!
WHY Splitter did NOT play??? Pop was [again] playing a FOOL!!!
WHY Novak did not play at least 5 minutes - while Bonner, Neal, and Hill were struggling from 3s, Novak could've hit couple of 3s - Pop, here is YOUR ball game right there, you f. MORRON [excuse my French!]; again, STUPID Popovich played damn [excuse my French!]!!! AGAIN and AGAIN he is f*****g us UP[excuse my French!]!!! We are getting killed inside - Gasol and Randolph killed us under the basket - With this ROSTER, if Pop DOES NOT play Splitter, he has ZERO chance beating L.A. and OKC, PERIOD!!! I am sick and tired of this a*****e [excuse my French!] being SO CONSERVATIVE - if Manu does NOT play, and Memphis BIGS are f*****g us in the a**[excuse my French!], WHY NOT TRYING WITH SPLITTER to help Dyes and Timmy??? "F. MORRON" to call Pop in THIS GAME, NOTHING more TO BE SAID...Pop completely outplayed by Memphis' coaches in this one...Very sad!!!

Conclusion: Pop should rest his starters in game one of the playoffs.

I would think the more current years would be more indicative than we the big 3 were in their prime

Keep Splitta's ass on the bench...Pop is a wonderful coach...you're just upset so your words are emotionally charged at the moment...Calm down it's just a game...:toast

Thats true, D wins THIS game here! If they had D they win this one with stops! Thing is they used to hit some clutch shots as well late, not miss or turn it over like they have done late this year.
Down three it always seems over for this team, when they go down I have no confidence at all they hit a shot to send it to OT.

Giving up 55% shooting at home in a playoff game? Only 7th time in Spurs history...
