Nope, as has been pointed out. Wolves are big fucking animals.

One has to remember that packs of these things hunt moose and other large creatures.

There is a reason our monkey-brains are programmed to be leery of the Big Bad Wolf. Their ancestors ate our ancestors on a fairly regular basis, I would imagine.
