wow sons didn't see this coming! The Grizzlies had to overcome the officials to win their game and they stepped up big time. The Hornets were fortunate enough to have a relatively fair called game and took advantage of it. They exposed Kobe for what he is, always has been, and always will be whenever the whistles aren't blowing and sending him to the freebie line every possession in the 4th ... nothing more than a "Glorified Paul Pierce" at best.

Was hopin' to see it with the Grizz, and should have seen it with the Lakers. Got blinded by that 3 in Northern California.

Props BR, this game wasnt reffed as bad as all the others. CP3 played like a top 3 PG. Where the hell was this Chris Paul during most of the season hahaha. That fool was half assing it on purpose like I thought he was. Going up against Fisher might of been a reason also. That must be a PG dream matchup

son I told you he was half assing during most of the season. even in the post game interview he said that "the team told me to be aggressive and this is the playoffs" lol

Paul wants out of there clearly. He was playing to get traded, now he's playing to attract the attention of another team.

I wouldn't say it like that but congrats son. Well deserved win today.

lol son the Hornets beat the fuck out of the Spurs twice this season including once on their home floor. The Lakers on the other hand beat the shit out of the Hornets all season long. you're damn right I'm happy about this win. If it had been a win over the Spurs yea I would be happy, but it wouldn't be a big deal because the Hornets have beat their ass many times before.

It's happened to the Spurs before, actually the Hornets of all teams stomped them out in New Orleans their first 2 games 3 years ago.....this is new territory for the Lakers.

That said, as much as we all enjoy talking smack, it is just 1 game (technically 2 games between both series) and I wouldn't put all of my chips on either necessarily losing the whole thing moving forward.

go look it up son. Phil is also 48-0 in playoff series whenever his team wins game 1.

Funny how that's always your go-to argument, even though the Spurs did the same to the Hornets, and had a better margin for the four games the two teams played against each other. Try using an argument that doesn't work against you in the future.

You're off. He's never lost a series when he's won game 1 of a playoff series. He did lose Game 1 against the Pistons and Game 1 against the Sixers in the 01 finals.
