freakin wonderful!!! I haven't had this much fun watching other teams play in a long time. Every series is looking to be competitive. I just hope it continues throughout the playoffs.

Pacers and Bulls set the tone, even though Indiana choked the game away and it's been gravy ever since. Glad to see the Eastern Conference back on the rise, 1-8.

great games so far other than the fact that both Indiana and Philly should have won their games if not for the officiating.

Most wide-open field since the lockout year of '99, IMO.

Wow, someone isn't happy.

Lemme guess, you saw the Spurs lose and came in your pants thinking of all those wierd fucking posts of yours that you were going to post to piss off Spurs fans.

And then....

New Orleans came into Staples Center like Katrina reborn. No matter how hard the hapless Lakers tried, they eventually broke and couldn't hold back the flood that was Chris Paul.

Is this why you aren't happy? It is ok though, the sun will come out tomorrow.

This is a very big if but let's just say the Hornets pull off the miracle and beat the Lakers to go to the 2nd round. What does Stern do?

I have enjoyed the games a lot too. I haven't been this entertained in a while in the playoffs for multiple series. I hope they continue even though I don't think it will.

ROFL you thinking that can happen. Stern will make sure the Lakers shoot freethrows every time down the floor, if necessary. It doesn't matter how dubious the call is. No matter how much whining we as fans do it can't change the outcome of a series if it's already been decided. Jus gotta Neal with it.

as long as the Spurs can meet this demoralized Laker team in the WCF, just not sure they'll make it that far.

Don't worry, I bet Stern is having a talk with the refs as we speak. He knows they can't do that shit to stern again, might give him a heart attack.

In the end though it looks like only the OKC-DEN series has the potential of going the distance. Maybe Spurs-Grizz too, but I doubt it.

Call me crazy but I think there is a chance that 5 of the 8 series goes 7 games. That probably won't happen but it's not out of the question.

I think SA/Memphis, OKC/Den, Dallas/Portland, Boston/NYC, and Orlando/Atlanta all have a chance to go 7 games.

You don't think Dallas/Portland or Boston/NYK both have a chance to go 7?

I think Dallas and Boston win in 5, Hawks win in 6. Spurs might go 7 but if Manu is back probably 6.

Hell no to the Boston series...Knicks blew their wad in that game, just like Indy and Philly did.

As far as the Dallas series goes, I just think people overrate Portland right now. They needed more time for that lineup to gel, they won't be a threat till next year, imo.

Fair point of view. But I think the Knicks have considerably more talent/closing-power than either Indy or Philly. And I also just don't sense that this Boston team is all that good. They pulled that game out of their ass last night and I could easily see the Knicks coming out with a vengeance in game 2.

(I sort of agree with you about Portland. They are considerably overrated by the nation sports media)

These playoffs sho am good. They will be even better when the refs let the teams play.
