He's going to get paid, meaning not by us.

Full MLE still may not be enough.

guy would be a perfect fit for the Spurs he played well against the thunder in last nights game..he reminds me of a younger, better defensive stephen jackson..that 1st rounder for him would of been perfect if those rumors would of been true earlier this season, even if he was a rental. I think he will command about $8 million a year, but the MLE would be intriguing for him especially playing for the Spurs, but doubt that exception will be around next cba or he would come off the bench playing behind RJ.

He'd be a far much better fit than RJ. Too bad the Spurs can't do a straight swap.

Wilson Chandler is visiting Toronto to discuss a possible pairing with the Raptors, according to his agent, Chris Luchey.

Chandler is still talking to Denver about a deal, but exploring other options as well. Another spike to someone's roster coming.

Love his game. Perfect fit for Spurs. Unlikely he ever plays here.

Question...could the Spurs sign Chandler and then amnesty Jefferson as they tried earlier this season when trying to coax other players?

Would the Spurs do so if they could?

not right now. they have to wait till next off season, then they can waive RJ.
but of course they could sign Chandler, if he takes just the mini MLE and the Nuggets don't match. (chance that this happens is 0.00000001%)

He is using TOR to get more money from DEN. I wouldn't mind him for the right price, but we don't have a possible way to bring him this season.

Not a chance.

if hes looking at Toronto then hes already in it for the money. So no chance.

Excuse the unknowing and the laziness to look up myself. And not that it would make the Spurs any more favorable as being the beneficeries of landing Chandler but...

could the Nuggets match then sign and trade Chandler to a team that had a player/draft picks which Denver might want in return for Chandler?

No.

Denver can do a sign and trade to a team that Chandler wants to go to, but they can't match an offer sheet from one team and then turn around and trade Chandler to another team.
