I agree; Stock was great @ CBS

But CBS seemed to be pro-Celtics

But, Heinsohn, to his immense credit played it straight & true.

Burke's been the best "newcomer" so far.

I'm quite confident that we won't see her again in that capacity. It never fails.

Doris is kicking some serious ass.

Her verbiage is fully loaded with all manner of quality goodies. And she keeps a low cadence to her delivery. All you have to do is listen, you'll hear all of it. It's wonderful.

And she didn't even look bad. Had to have went and had a complete makeover in the afternoon. Musta cost a fortune to transcend that fiasco.

I agree. Watching old games its amazing how neutral he managed to be considering how much of a blatant homer he is when doing Celtics games now.

It was a wonderment. And you're right, one couldn't appreciate it at the time because there was no Internet. Cable partnering was in it's infancy with Turner down in GA. and his Hawks. Just basically CBS. Hell, we'd finally quit tape delaying the games a couple years prior!

How he did it is beyond me. It's a tribute to his professionalism.

I remember that Sunday when we broke thru in MA., Heinsohn made it a point to wear a neck tie with combination colors representing both teams.

Hell, can ya imagine me sitting there? Sure, I'd a convinced them I could be neutral in the job interview. Shit, I'd have myself convinced. I'd last 3 minutes and the FCC would have to pull the plug.

"Snapper" was a terrible Laker hater. It was deeply personal with him.

Yep, his "right between the eyes!" is money.

Bob Neal's= "Auctung, baby, auctung!" for Dirk's moments is indelibly lodged as well.
