A "healthy" Andrew Bynum should be the #1 option. At this point, there's just no denying that.
Pau Gasol has shown he has a rather large and protruding vagina, but at times during the regular season when Colby deferred to him, he looked like he was capable of being the #1 option. Putting him in the #2 spot on this team would help his confidence and make him more aggresive.
Colby has really started to show his age. Sure he can come out and put up 30 points after about 5-6 days of rest and a lot of sleep, but during the wear and tear of the playoffs you can certainly expect more 3-10 shooting, 10 points, 2 turnovers, 4 fouls and 0-2 from downtown shooting type of nights.
I noticed that in a crucial playoff game, down 0-1 to the #7 seed, Colby came out and scored 10 points on 3-10 shooting. He also missed both of his 3-point shots and had 2 turnovers.
His advanced stats show he only managed to score 10 points while shooting 30% from the field and 0% from the 3-point line.
If the lakers are going to go all the way, and i certainly think they can, then Colby is going to have to be the #3 option, and at times the #4 option (Lamar Odom 8-12 shooting with 16 points and 7 rbs).
1) Andrew Bynum
2) Pau Gasol
3) Colby Bryant/Lamar Odom
4) Lamar Odom/Colby Bryant
5) Artest
