IMO this has been the biggest problem for the Spurs the last two games, which is extremely surprising. Most of Tim's post ups were not spaced well enough, not to mention the Bonner/Tony pick and rolls. It looked like the poor spacing was a key reason for all the turnovers in game 2. My question is how can a team that's played with each other for so long have such difficulty with something as simple as spacing, and how was this issue not addressed/fixed as the game went on? For stretches, I saw a team that looked lost out there. This observation has me more concerned than anything else.
It appears as though the Spurs have lost their "swag."

Bonner is in the game to improve spacing for Tim and our slashers, and yet our spacing was at its worst when he was on the court.

There was a sequence in the game where both Bonner and RJ were standing at the top of the key and TP on the wing. I was like wtf!!! Those guys should know better than that

It has more to done with what Memphis is doing, not what were doing.

There was a possession wherein duncan got blocked by arthur's help d because bonner's in the paint and not outside waiting for a pass....

Because no one has to guard Bonner, making it effectively 5 on 4. So you can double Timmy or Manu, making it harder on those guys.
