Chalmers is a top 5 defensive player for the Heat. For anyone to say he's more of a liability than Bibby is just plain stupid.
You misread what I wrote. I said Bibby is less of a defensive liability with the starters - meaning Bibby's defensive ineptness would be exposed with their 2nd unit. Add my other 2 reasons, and you see why he starts over Chalmers.
Biggest fluke in NBA playoff history. Did they even win one quarter against the Spurs? That's what I thought. The EC was just that weak.

Mike Miller has been passive for years, but the thumb injury has made it even worse, he's scared to shoot at all, nowadays..such a waste of talent..good rebounder, good passer, above average defender, but a great shooter that plays with no confidence..

Wade is 5-7, 13 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, while having to chase Ray Allen all over. Again this is not old man Kobe we're talking about.
Its the first quarter of the first game. Wade may have a good series, he may not, but using his energy on running after Allen is going to hurt his offense more than help it.
Guarding Ray is a team effort, no one player can do it because he gets 3-4 screens per possession. If Derek Fisher can guard him, Chalmers can.
The Heat are experts at the early lead, late choke.

LeBron "Regular Season King" James. Besides, how many lottery picks (aka scrubs) did the Cavs have playing with LeBron again? I'm sure all of them were better than Smush, Cook, Kwame, Mihm, and Luke Walton. Add to the fact that the WC >> EC, and the above records you mentioned makes sense. Let's see what LeBron does with those bums as teammates.
Despite it all, it's still...

What she means is that next to Wade Bibby us not as much as a liability.
Makes sense. But not over the long haul when they begin to exploit that matchup in space. The Celts will begin to get open looks because of it.
Bibby got beat up the court three times which caused problems (Not capitalized on) in the first quarter despite his block, and the offensive foul he created.

Miami has this one under wraps, at halftime. They should win. If it becomes a blowout, history can be a lesson for LeBron. Boston beat him after his Cavs did just that. Also, in the finals last year, Lakers blew Boston out in games 1 and 6, Boston came storming back in game 2, win, and game 7, lost in 4th quarter.
Boston is capabale of coming back in a series, if their legs hold out. This is their last chance, edge to Heat still.
If Miami goes uip 2-0, this is over in 5. If it's 1-1, it's going 7.

Bibby defended him well in keeping him out the middle of the floor where he does the most damage, but one can't expect that to hold water over the course of this series. When Rondo put he head down and got a little selfish he drew an offensive foul....either he get more aggressive or they start switching to take advantage of Bibby in some other way.

Big mistake by ainge. having guys to go small against one of the best 1-2 punches in NBA history was short-sighted. Sure KG is not a young agile big anymore like Ibaka, but the Perk trade forces KG to anchor the paint more than he should have to. and even if some argue Perk is overrated, what is SOO special about Green? Losing game one is not a big deal for Celts ...but they do need to change the tempo of this series. Im not calling for a "dirty play" but those intentional fouls on his breakaways (Lebron) neither were playoff caliber.
And i do agree Boston is rusty...though the Heat are playing better. Stern stretched this start way to far should of played at least yesterday ...but he wanted max ratings ...

Miami is notorious for giving away huge leads, the Celtics are one of the best in coming back from it. Still a long way to go but I think this game is over tbh. Lebron is owning Pierce any way possible.
I'd like to see Lebron commit himself fully to defense because he's such a monster defensively. Let Wade take over the game offensively.
