Yeah. Along with many other genres where an actual instrument is played on and recorded. Not an instance of hitting Play on a sequenced tracked and going "blah blah blah" "yo yo yo" over it. Glorified karoake is all rap is. Nothing more. Nothing less. I respect, and actually listened to, old school rap more than the modern (c)rap of today.

There is a lot of awful rap out there, no question about it. But there is still plenty of jewels out there, you just have to look for it. The same can be said for pretty much every genre though.

2. The actual rapping
3. Annoying sound effect going on in the background throughout the whole song.
