Is this soft ass defense worth the extra offense the Bonner Blair lineup allows or just the overall change of philosophy for offense over defense?
The commentators said earlier in the game that Pop said something along the lines of that he knows the Bonner and Blair lineup is comically small most of the time, but he likes the extra offense it provides.
The offense is horrid in the playoffs like expected. Most of us knew that Bonner and Blair wouldn't be anywhere near as good in the playoffs, yet this hall of fame coach thought it would work??????????
ALWAYS GO WITH DEFENSE OVER OFFENSE you fool Pop. I have no idea what this guy was thinking. You could do this if you had the personnel, but Bonner and Blair ain't the personnel. One is inconsistent and the other is a playoff choker.
