Parker looks like Rondo without the court vision, offense, and defense out there....basically a homeless man's version of the PG we're accustomed to seeing. It seems like even the injured Parker played better from last year :depressed :downspin:

EDIT: And looking at the stats for the first 3 playoffs games from last year, yes an even injured Parker played much better than what he's doing now... :bang Give credit to the Memphis defense as well though.

The 6 TO's hurt the most, because half of them were easy basket opportunities that he just fudged. COME BACK TO US TONY!!

To make it worse, half of them were easy basket opportunities for the Spurs that ended up being opportunities the other way for the Grizzlies because of the TO's.

The irony of turning the ball over off of a turnover to lead to a fast break countering the fast break you were on is quite ironic.

His outside shot has completely disappeared. Sucks, the defense will sag off of him now until he hits it. He can continue to drive which is what we want but his drives have resulted in TO's, blocked shots and missed layups. He made like 2 tough layups but we need more than that.

those turnovers are lasiest shit ive seen from him, running into players in transition or lazy layups tryin to sell a foul when the grizz were gettin away with everything they wanted

our team fg was shit all anyway since we got to the rim good but no lucky bounces, same with our open shot attempts..all good looks but not gettin that lucky bounce..

while the grizz fck them gettin away with the physical defensive fouls and lucky bounces in the first half...

if you watch the game, i think something fishy is going on how the score line was always 10pts...and the refs would continue to blow it out to 10 everytime we got it down to single digits....

When one of our big three fails miserably, Spurs can't win. Manuless 1st game=loss.
Parkerless 3rd game= loss.

As the big three go, the Spurs go. Our role players haven't played well enough to compensate.

Seriously, you're retarded. All six of his turnovers were in the second half. Pop benched him for a reason, because he was playing awful. If he was kicking ass, he'd be in there.

I've been trying to get this point across. Parker is the Spurs best player and he isn't even showing up on the radar this series.

Except for a brief stretch in 2009 when he had to be by default, Tony has never been the team's best player. 90% of the time he hasn't even been the second best. Anyone who thinks he's the team's best player doesn't understand basketball.

And I repeat, except for a stretch in 2009, Tony was NEVER the team's best player. Most consistent maybe, but not the best. He was third on the team in PER, like he is every year.

Five quick thoughts: What has happened to Tony Parker? (http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursnation/2011/04/23/five-quick-thoughts-what-has-happened-to-tony-parker/)
Tim Griffin

...Some might say that Parker’s exposure has occurred because Manu Ginobili is playing at much less than 100 percent and an aging Tim Duncan is nowhere near the player he was earlier in his Hall of Fame career. The Spurs have counted on Parker, and he hasn’t been able to provide much in the first three games.

2. The injury in the fourth quarter sustained by Antonio McDyess could potentially have some serious ramifications for the Spurs. McDyess has been the most effective of the San Antonio defenders against Randolph and Marc Gasol. If he can’t play, it will alter the rotation and really limit San Antonio’s interior defense. But it might make those angry posters on the message boards and the chat rooms happy in at least one sense. Tiago Splitter might be forced to get his first playing time of the series if McDyess can’t play. :lol :tu
