Will Splitter FINALLY get some PT?

I wouldn't be surprised if Novak gets to play in his absence, I mean what's better than having TWO big men that can stretch the floor?

no doubt's Pop will be forced to play him, Dice is likely done for the season (did not look good). It's terrible these things have to happen for Pop to play Tiago.

RJ will see some time at center.

Bonner will play 30 minutes a game now

Splitter still wont see the floor. Bonner will start and play the whole game.

McDyess leaves locker room, flanked by team docs. Grim look on his face.

More Small Ball and more Bonner minutes is what I'm seeing right now. Hopefully I'm wrong and Dice is ok for next game and fi not this gives Splitter a chance at minutes

Pop is probably wishing he kept finley.

Pop in postgame interview when asked about Dice and if he had an update: "I don't but it doesn't look good"

Splitter won't see any time till this series is all, but over. Then we can all collectively flip our tops when he goes in there and is actually able to do something on the defensive end.

I can't believe all the fail in this game. It's painful to see them lose another golden opportunity to steal the game even when playing like crap.

Shit-I hope Dice is ok.

What the fuck is wrong with you people. Not many people wishing Dice well in this thread.

He played fucking hard and busted his ass for us this season and tonight.

I hope Dice is OK.

Pop still won't play Splitter...just adding insult to injury...

Sad that with Dice down and prognosis uncertain, that we get a Splitter minutes thread to show what is on the forefront of ST poster's mind. Sad.

Nope we'll either get Novak or small ball with RJ at the 4.

Sucks for Dice if it's really bad. He deserves to go out a champ.

Official diagnosis is neck strain on McDyess. X-rays negative. Day-to-day. "It's OK. I think I can play," he says of Game 4.

Pop would rather Dyess play at 50% than to play Splitter.

Why?

Because Pop is Pop. (The world will never know.)

Scary when I saw it. I have been a big Dice fan since his original Nugget days, and would have hated to see him suffer an injury that could persist past his playing career. At least there's some good news about this abortion of a game.

I was hoping he just pinched a nerve. I was thinking shoulder dislocation, broken collarbone, something wrong with the neck vertebrae. Dice is a classy guy hope all is good.

I would really like to see Splitter given a chance on Gasol.

We barely lost a game in which almost everything we did went wrong. Horrible passes by Jefferson, Parker and Ginobili, really awful turnovers. I hold out hope we can take these guys eventually but...

Going forward it just does not look good. Even if we get past this group we are beat up. Parker looked fatigued and wobbly legged offensively. I thought he did a decent job staying in front of Conley in their set offense. Ginobili needs much more time off. Blair is fat. Jefferson has no confidence based on tonight. We appear to be in tatters. Fight on.

Games are not going to be played every other day now if Spurs are fatigued now then I hate to what they look like in the next few games.

No Slpittler won't play beacause Bonner can't draw enough fouls when he isn't playing defence.

The biggest problem is that Splitter hasn't played in close to three weeks now.

And it would have been much longer had Timmy not been injured.

I can see the Grizz going on a run to go up double digits next game.. then Pop throws in Splitter with 1.45 left in the half with all the momentum with the Grizz.. he doesnt do anything because he doesnt have a chance.. Grizz maybe score another couple of buckets to extend the lead.. and this convinces Pop not to let Splitter near the court for the rest of the playoffs.

Something like that.
