Is anyone watching this game aside from me? Geeez

Birdman and Martin attacking the glass. This is shaping up to be a good game. Knotted up with a minute left in the first.

Nice block by Birdman. This is a entertaining pace.

Denver is playing well. Great energy on defense. Afflalo on Westbrook is the smart thing to do. OKC bigs are in foul trouble way early. I think Denver takes this in a very close game.

But I do think OKC takes this series in 5 or 6 and are a serious threat to take the West.

J.R Smith is bringing the energy off the bench. Nice feed to Birdman.

I'll tell you what. Listen to the color commentary. Doris Burke knows basketball and has a high IQ as to what's going on out there. Her explanations are clear, concise, and to the point. She does more describing one sequence than Mark Jackson or Jeff Van Gundy do in a whole quarter. They waste her talents in the regular season or playffs when it's down to the conference finals and finals, only allowing her to interview halftime and postgame.

You all may disagree at first, but stop and listen to her. She needs more airtime, period.

The game has certainly slowed down, and the fouls are starting to rack up.

Good Lord. Al harrington.

Lawson can get in the lane pretty much at will.

Nene is playing really well. Let's see how he does with Perk back.

Spur-Addict

That was Ibaka actually. Perkins has 3 fouls on the bench.

OKC making Denver pay for the turnovers. Harden and Durant taking over,

That Sonics guy is literally right behind the Thunder bench. That's hilarious

Halftime. OKC 56-49. Can't see Denver coming back, really. Ibaka taking over this ball game.

Spur-Addict

I like the little clusters of Sonics fans. They're scattered around the arena. OKC is turning the Nugget turnovers into quick buckets. That's really the difference right now.

Perk shooting fade aways? LOL

EduRiker
04-23-2011, 10:56 PM
Denver is the same old team. Playing wild, making huge plays and a lot of mistakes.

Spur-Addict
04-23-2011, 11:05 PM
Now they want to call basket interference LOL

EduRiker

Cool that they review and take these points away from Denver (Nene out of Lawson) and yet they couldnt review the Perkins goaltending on game 1.

Spur-Addict
04-23-2011, 11:12 PM
BOOM. Smith with the big trey ball.

EduRiker
04-23-2011, 11:14 PM
Nuggets with all the momentum. Can they execute this time?

Nuggz got this. Thunda will be tired in the 4th (altitude).

Spur-Addict

Four fouls on KD. Nice steal by Felton, although Durant pretty much left it there for him.

EduRiker

Denver this a nice job on defense to finish the 3rd. Doing a good job of denying Durant the ball and staying with Westbrook on the drive.

Big FT misses by Nuggs ...

I Like Smith to be hyped but he has chucked a bit ...

0-3 for Smith to start the 4th

Spur-Addict

Birdman is giving 100 percent tonight

EduRiker

0-3 for Smith to start the 4th

Make that 0-6. Doubt he will be back after the timeout.

Spur-Addict

You can feel the close out vibe right now. OKC is trying to take this game over.

EduRiker
04-23-2011, 11:36 PM
It's the same story. Denver can't execute in the 4th. Karl took too long to send Smith to the bench and to bring Nene in. This kind of stuff it's why Karl is a loser coach in the playoffs.

Spur-Addict
04-23-2011, 11:38 PM
Wow, big time foul on Perkins that wasn't called
