View Full Version : Will TP be THE factor in this series?

We know

TD will play well, no matter what Pistons do, perhaps he'll reduce his assists
MG will do whatever he usually does
RH, BB, BBarry will make their plays, but

TP is the key (in my opinion) he'll have to play very smart, because a bad night (of TP) will give Pistons a good chance to defeat SA.

IMO TP is always key bc we all know manu and td are consistent

Something TP just does not have.

He's been the factor all throughout these playoffs. He has a good night, Spurs win, he has a bad night, Spurs lose.

God I hope not.

You can tell a truthful statement when you see one.

It is obvious he's determinant (bc of his stats) but in this particular series against a very good D team, I think TP will have to step up or at least keep his level.

Yes TP has to play well for the Spurs to win. But he shouldn't be the factor because the Spurs are expecting him to contribute. The factor needs to be someone like Nazr or Brent Barry or Glenn Robinson.

The factor for beating the Detroit Pistons in a 7 game series is to have every single player play really well. None of this TP x-factor shit...everyone needs to step up.

exactly.

Horry needs to play smart bag his shots and play good D on Rasheed.

Duncan needs to be agressive and not give a shit its mr overrated big ben

Mohammed needs to become a beast againa nd dominate the offensive boards and throw down the ball 5 feet and in.

Ginobili needs to continue being the other teams bitch slapper.

Barry needs to shoot when open and bag em.

Same with Robinson.

Im somewhat worried about Parker.

TP is going to struggle in this series... Billups is exactly the kind of PG that gives him fits.

I can already see Billups posting Parker up, and then drawing a big man on to help, leaving sheed or ben open.

It happened with AI too.

Parker had problems with Steve Nash, and we still won the series...but then again, the Pistons play some defense...

We must be wary of Tayshaun Prince!!!

He was a problem for Kobe last year and will probably be assigned by LB to try and contain Manu. I hope Pop makes plays that can free up Manu from this long-armed Piston! :smokin
