Duncan's not going to play any better than what he has. Bonners not going to magically become clutch. Pops not going to play Splitter in the playoffs, Dicks not going to get hard, Gino is injured and playing the best he can. Blair isn't growing or going on a diet anytime soon. Hill is hill, sucks on the road, spotty at home.

Parker, he was this years MVP to the regular season Spurs. He is one of our scorers, he's not a pass first pg. Spurs depend on Parker and Ginoboli when the offense gets stagnant and let's face it, that's often.

We MAY squeek out a win here or there and might even be lucky enough to advance to the next round, but to soundly win games Parker has to play like the regular season Parker we all know and love.

So Parker, GTFO out of your funk and play like we all know you can.

It's on a bunch of things, including turnovers... I understand Memphis is the best team at creating them, but some of those are entirely our fault. As far as Tony, it's going to have to be his jumper, since he's getting his shit blocked every time he drives, pretty much.

Tony Parker looks a step slow mentally and physically. something is up with him. his demeanor out there is troubling.

If Tony steps up we will win. He made very stupid turnovers when we couldve took the lead.

they weren't as costly though.

I agree the Spurs should be able to beat this team without Manu.

This isn't about Manu only, without TP or without Duncan there's no championship either.

I only wish TP plays better next game and I think this can be turned around.

I think this explained the Suns game. Not sure how to explain anything since.

...Parker logged a little more than 25 minutes in Wednesday’s 106-103 loss at Phoenix while fighting a chest cold. He hopes to be over it before the playoffs begin Sunday against Memphis.

“My chest was burning,” Parker said. “I played 25 minutes to try and get it out. By this weekend, I’ll be fine.”

Could he still be sick?

Parker and Hill both need to figure out when a good time to drive to the basket is and when to back it out and pass it to someone else. Fix this problem and the Spurs win in 6.

On paper the Spurs have been PGs, etc - they haven't showed up yet. It's the key to the series - it isn't fucking Manu.

I think so. Don't know about chest cold, but more of a case of head in ass...

You're a dipshit. You called out Manu BEFORE Game 2 and said even if he does play he'll be afraid to go to the basket and play like a pussy because of his arm.

He's got 27 free throw attempts in two games. Tony has 24 through three. Good call on that one.

And ALL SIX of Tony's turnovers were in the second half tonight. Look up the play-by-play if you even know how.

While I agree with the OP on the onset, I will give credit to Memphis for the way they play the fast break. Classically, the offense has set up wide lines giving TP space to attack with either a pass or him a chance to beat everyone to the rim. Memphis basically doesn't give a fuck who is running with TP. Why should they? It's not as if Hill or Jefferson, or anyone else for that matter, has shown that they can attack the rim with any regularity. Memphis primarily just gets back and have players step to him to form an obstacle that TP has to get around. When he's gotten past, the help defenders have closed to where they need to be. Couple that with their athleticism and the Spurs inability to hit open jump shots and well... perhaps the interior D can grow and that's how the Spurs will win? Free Tiago
