I haven't seen Randolph defending Duncan very much. It got me thinking last night. What would your opinions be if there were screens that would force the Memphis bigs to switch their defensive match-ups with Randolph on Duncan and Gasol on McDyess/Bonner?
Theoretically this would put Duncan on the low block with the smaller Randolph on his back, and their main shot blocker on the outside shooter. The smaller Randolph needs to be exposed defensively on a consistent basis. The only other solution to make this work would be to play Splitter alongside Duncan and force Randolph to defend, and not sit and wait for rebounds.
