Clearly he looks like he's really happy here in New Orleans. He also stated in the post-game interview that he knew Jarret Jack since he was 12 years old. It seems as if the fans embrace him. IMO, I don't think he will end up leaving NO for the Knicks.

dont know the cba. maybe he wont have a choice if they do a franchise tag forcing guys like howard and cp3 to be stuck on their teams

If Mbenga stays in NOLA, Paul will definitely stay.

In a twist of irony, he and Dwight are going to join Kevin Love in Minnesota, and will announce as much on ESPN2....say it ain't so Dwight.

He's going to the Knicks. It's a done deal.

It's being/going to be discussed in the offseason.

I doubt it if you look at all the facts. Plus in the west he will be the starting PG in the west for more years to come:lol

By looking at all the facts, do you mean the Knicks getting swept and Hornets tying the series?

all Hornets need right now imo is a legit PF; NOT David West

Doubt they let them franchise players because it limits FA which they fought so hard for ...

I won't be so sure about that. FA would be limited and the off-season most likely boring. But on the other hand it could have two positive effects:

- Balance of power throughout the league - more teams battling for a playoff spot. It might make the NBA more entertaining in the regular season.

- More active trade market. More blockbuster trades throughout the year/till the draft. This may force teams to actually give up something in return for a star player. No more LBJ for some picks...

But I doubt a franchise tag will come. Players will not agree.

It's like in F1 - how long are they talking about everyone driving the same car? Couple of years?

Wasn't the NBA on the verge of purchasing the Hornets team as well? If that happens, how would the salary cap and distribution of funds work?
