View Full Version : it's all manu ginobili's fault

i hate to single him out because he's done so much for us and i turely love his game but it is no coincidence that we've had 4 playoff eliminations in 4 poor/injury-riddled manu ginobili post seasons.

our super star players are simply not as good as they need to or use to be. say what you want about parker and even duncan, but we all know this thing has hinged on manu the last few years. and in the last few seasons manu has still showed flashes of greatness that gave us all hope.

but in a must win game 4, manu goes 5 for 13 after going 5 for 12 in game 3.

we should not have extended manu's contract two years ago. now two playoff elimination's later, his contract single handedly prevents us from attracting any big time free agent...

yes the sky is falling but in all honestly, it fell a few years ago

Bad luck tbh. The Spurs were healthy throughout the season until the end when Duncan hurt his ankle (hurt it in the playoffs again), Manu with his obvious injury, Dice tweaked his knee several times and got that stinger in game 3, and Parker's gone fishing already.

If there's a member of the big 3 to blame it'd be Tony Parker since he's the youngest and healthiest of them all. Unfortunately its been one big silver and black shit sandwich.

Funny how Manu with one healthy elbow still managed to play better than the whole team.

Manu is still a really good player, but he is in no position to dominate with his arm problem.

Just horrible timing on his injury. Sucks big time.

^^exactly! tony parker has nothing to complain about. he's the youngest and the quickest. remember when kobe tweaked his ankle last night? did you see his will to stay in the game and play? well tony parker has nothing to complain about. look at manu. he has no excuses and plays like he has no injuries.

another try from a TP homer... the fighting of the Churches of Tony and Manu ended about 5 years ago.
