Detroit Pistons fans have been busy preparing for their second straight NBA Finals. However, Detroit's "classy" fans do not prepare like most cities do by buying confetti or noise makers. Instead they have raided sporting goods stores for baseball bats, Army surplus stores for body armor and batons and landscaping stores for rocks to throw.
This year, however, most fans will not destroy their city while "celebrating" a Championship. They will be tearing up their city because the San Antonio Spurs easily knocked them out of the playoffs.
"Yeah, man, we tearses that shit up," said Jerome Smith, a Detroit Pistons fan. "Win or lose we be wreckin and burning our city up. It'll be off da chain!"
