We're not being closed out at home, I KNOW this team is too tough for that. Game 6 is going to be huge, but if we stick to what we know and can get some shots in and finally have things roll our way, we have it. Last night is over, enough mourning, rise and shine bitches.

You heard it here first folks, the spurs will win this series. WHO'S WITH ME?!?! BUUHLEEAAVVVVE

I truly want to feel that way.... but after yesterday, I think it's over...... we only have three proven players, sad, but the rest are just regular season scrubs..... we need a different game plan to win the series but we don't have the personnel ...... sorry.

I still have some faith but I am traveling in Panama and seeing the abject poverty and in some places ostentious wealth and glamor keeps it in perspective and oh well the beer is also cheap and i will watch what i can of game 5.

if Spurs win game 5 it does become an interesting series as you have to believe the Spurs can win one on the road as well then all bets are off depending on who and what shows up in game 7.

Name another team that isn't the same way.

This series is a direct result of how we ended the season. The Spurs limped into the playoffs and they'll limp out of it. Team chemistry was fucked after the starting lineup change... they lost a few games because of it, then they lost a few more after they encountered some injuries. The Spurs haven't been in any kind of rhythm in weeks. I'm not saying this team was going to contend, but they certainly wouldn't have bent over for the fucking Grizzlies had the Spurs from earlier in the season showed up for the playoffs.

The series is over. In Game 4 Gasol ripped away Duncan's manhood, Ginobili quit, and the Grizz executed San Antonio's soul. I'd be surprised if this even got to six games, but there definitely won't be a 7th.

I am usually down with this kind of charge. BUT after last night I am convinced we are not the better team. I think we win the next game, but not the series. Our big three no longer show up on the same night. Our roll players don't have the balls it takes to be successful in the playoffs. We are not the resiliant Spurs we used to be. The Spurs we are used to would have stollen game 4 in memphis. I didn't mind the game 1 loss, but the game 4 loss showed me all I needed to know about this year's Spurs.

They have been saying that duncan is too old for years now and I have grown used to Duncan proving them wrong in the playoffs... But this is the first year that I believe they are correct. Duncan was worthless last night. We can't afford that. Its sad to see, but it is what it is.

Memphis 4-2

Talk of Spurs winning the series is delusional. Unless of course someone takes a bat to Randolph and Gasol's legs...

This is all a gimmick. Timmy scoring 7 on his birthday. Manu not showing up. George lackluster play. Yup all a gimmick. They are trying to pull the Grizzlies into the feeling of jubilation. Then starting tomorrow, they will show the Memphis the real Spurs squad and beat the crap out of their sorry asses.

Do I believe a word of what I just wrote? As a fan, I have to.

We'll win Game 5 but we just can't win in Memphis unless the pressure does them in.

It's one game at a time. I hope some of those dumbass Memphis players have been partying their asses off. I think our guys won't go softly into the night. When Manu hit the floor in Phoenix, I knew that was the beginning of the end. However, it's far from over. We let them steal one here, with no MG, and we need to do the same to them. First, let's get game 5 tomorrow, and then repay the favor.
There's been a lot of talk about "fool's gold" in this series. I think that applies to Memphis much more than the Spurs. They wouldn't be in their position without injuries to our team and they know it. That's why that low class, ignorant Tony Allen was mouthing off..... he knows the truth. It's time for our guys to watch some tape, for Pop to make a plan (his orginal wasn;t bad), and come out with an urgency on Wednesday like the wounded dogs we are. Fuck Memphis.

There's a reason we play one more game. Who knows? Maybe we come out and blow Memphis out in Game 5 and then it's a series again. Maybe we lose. That's why we play.

Go Spurs, Go Ginobili, Go Duncan!
