What a fucking beast. I honestly feel bad for any opposing Center that will have to go up against him this post season. Not fair.

Put him in the same league with Bill Cartwright and Will Perdue. Similar career playoff numbers too.

Only difference, Bynum will be a HoFer when it's all said and done. Just like I predicted 4-5 years ago.

Who was the Lakers MVP for the first round? Bynum?

Right now, he's the Lakers best player. Not best overall, just right now. By next season, I suspect the gap between Bryant, Gasol and him, will be miniscule.

As far as Bynum and Duncan, Bynum is about 7-2 and 290, playing primarily against a 6-9 255 pound guy and is a distant third in terms of the opposition's focus. In other words, because of the presence of Bryant, Gasol and to a lesser extent Odom, Bynum doesn't get the attention paid to him that he'd get almost anywhere else. Duncan is 6-11, at most 255, with bad knees that limit his mobility and explosion and is playing against a 7-1, 280 guy, with far less mileage. And he doesn't have a Gasol or Odom next to him.

I think so. He played very well on both ends. Either him or Kobe.

Lakers actually got some balanced contributions in the series. Even Artest really stepped up, which was needed since Pau was so down.

Bynum is more lethal than Gasol. Gasol's a bit overrated. Benefits from playing with Kobe, Odom, and Bynum. Plus playing under Phil. He didn't do crap in Memphis and wouldn't do crap now without these guys.

Real perspective.
Tim Duncan against Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph and Darrell Arthur.
Mr. Glass against Okafor and a bunch of midgets or slow white country dudes.

But hey, I will say the the MVP for the LAL for Round 1 is Mr. I Kiss My Biceps-Ron Artest.

Uh, no. The Lakers go as Bynum goes. There's probably not a more important player in the postseason to their team.
