It was a good series. Mavs played very well, much better than I thought. Portland didn't play as well as I thought they would, but it was a good series.

on a good note at least you not a spurs fan your not gonna get reminded of it every 5 min with a new thread :lol I don't think many blazer haters dwell on this msg board.

I don't agree with this. Mavs just clamped down and Portland just did not know what to do. They figured them out.

i mean every one was on that blazers "no one wants to see them" bandwagon ...... Mavs turned that ass over and spanked it nicely ..... should have been over in five.

True dat! The Mavs were clearly a much better team, and except a fluke Roy game 4, this would have been over in 5.

it wasn't about fluke roy. its about the mavs impressive ability to fold under pressure.

best thing about the blazers losing are those awful announcers .... one of the worst in the NBA

agreed. part fluke, part choke. And i think the mavs deserve praise for shutting them down, but the Blazers were unimpressive. everyone gives the Mavs shit for ckoing, as they should. but Blazers fell down by 23 in the first place and played some of the worst 10 minutes of playoff basketball I had seen since the mid 90's ...
