That's all, thank you for an amazing years and bringing 4 rings to San Antonio
Don't know if you'll come back next year, but you'll always be the best thing that happened to San Antonio

We've only won 1 of the last 5 playoff rounds, I don't know if Timmy would want to come back and fight through 82 games (maybe less with the lockout) to see another exit like this

Please retire Tim :)

Tim should retire or go to a contender for 1 more...maybe he should team up with Dwight Howard and finally make his way to Orlando...

Spurs had a great run, nothing to be ashamed of. 4 championships. You should feel lucky to have been a part of that. Not many teams have reached the pinnacle that many times.

What hurts is opening up the wallets too late and for the wrong personnel. Had this been circa 2006, and the money was spent on Udrih, Mohammed, Scola, etc, that's a different story. Extending Jefferson for that kind of money, then Bonner, yikes. Blair is a good kid but undersized. McDyess is cool, but he's old.

Even if you won this series, it's unrealistic to think you'd go through 3 more series against teams filled with trees.

He missed so many shots and had so many turnovers this game. Do you really want him back for another season?

Pls retire Tim. Next could only be worse, and I dont want to see it.

selfishly, I'd prefer to see Tim Duncan playing here 20 mpg that in any other team, but the man deserves better, if he wants to go to a contender, let it go.

that's said, and it heartbreaks me to say it, Timmy is truly done. He'll always be my favorite player, but I'd prefer him to retire now, making our last bucket in the playoffs, ending with the best record in the west, than seeing him playing next year for a playoff position and struggling to get 10 ppg

Can''t fault Tim. He can't anchor the defense by himself at his age. He did the best he could, and performed as a solid role player.

I dont think he wants to leave and join a contender. Timmy is a Spur and he has to retire in Spurs jersey.

Thanks Mr Big Fundamental for all the great memories. You are the best.

Timmy is still a great big. Just needs some help inside. If Pop sticks with this run and gun spread the floor shit then I wouldn't blame Duncan for retiring but he can definitely still play and hope he comes back.

Agree, Timmy could still play, and play better than this year/PO in a more slow paced offense, and more defense oriented team. But I don't think this team have the right pieces to play this type of bball

They clearly do not as we just saw.
