Pop - retire; you're not in touch any more and haven't been for a while (thank the big 3 for your success and fade away - thanks for the memories)
trade Jefferson and Bonner (good game 6, but he'd be better suited on a team that needs marginal help from a role player)
trade hill and blair - not enough for the Spurs to be successful
Get used to the big 3 being ordinary (parker playing intl play, timmy and manu just getting older)
that's the reality and the other reality is that although SA is a small market, it's also part of one of the fastest growing areas in the US and the Central Texas and SA area has faired well compared to other parts of the country in new corporation movement and job opportunities. That means that ticket sales should not be as stagnant as they will if this team doesn't revamp and become relevant again.
Good season, but sorry if I'm not all rosey and hopeful as I expect excellence from this team and the Spurs haven't been excellent for a while - sugarcoat it all you want, but that is the truth and you know it.
