Stumblin' & bumblin' tonite in Memphis reminded one of Mays wanderin' center field for the Mets at the end.

You're supposed to shoot a horse when he's suffering.

Hussein Obama finally produced his birth certificate. Duncan should follow suit. If he's 35 I'm 35.

well ... he's not

even in Duncan's prime he was never a top 10 player. maybe top 50 player at best. stop overrating him simply because he was the best scorer on Pop's best championship team.

sons that's like saying JJ Reddick is a top 10 college player because he dominated at Duke. its just stupid.

He needed #5 to be in the top 10.. Didn't get it. Until he does, he'll be outside looking in.

Well, if Duncan's 50, then Kobe's gotta be around 100.

God Bless, son.

Who cares? He's still one of the greatest PF to ever play the game. Thousands of players would kill to have one ring. He's got 4 and earned every one of them. Haters can kiss his homegrown Virgin Island ass.

JJ is perhaps the greatest pure shooter the NBA has ever seen. I saw that on Better Basketball.

He looks like do-do now. He's humiliating himself every time he trips over a particle of dust.

You know what Duncan is don't ya? Oh, yeah,,,

a tired old shit bag.

son I won't argue too much with that, but top 80 is more like it. Duncan is for sure ahead of Kobe though.

It's true. Have fun with it. If the Lakers lose, don't abandon ship like your homies always do. Stick around and take your licks.

It's hard not to put Duncan in top 10. Dude is the best PF of all time and unarguably won the most amount of rings with the least amount of help. Think of all the players in the top 10 who won multiple rings and the kind of help they had.

Magic (5 with Kareem/Worthy/other great roleplayers and all-stars)
Bird (3 with multiple hall-of-famers/all-stars)

Just using Magic/Bird as examples. I mean its AMAZING this guy was able to win 4 titles, which is a shitload in the context of basketball history and he really only had Tony Parker, Manu, and an old David Robinson's help. Besides an old and gray DRob, Tony Parker and Manu don't even deserve to be in the hall-of-fame let alone be in multiple all-star games(sorry Spurs fans) and this guy still won FOUR titles essentially off his own greatness.

He's not the most flashy guy but theres only 2-3 players that I could definitively put ahead of him.

of course Tim Duncan's one of the top 10 ever. duh. this is all you need to know:

Tim Duncan won 4 fucking Championships. That's more than the Hornets, Suns, Mavericks, Bucks, Magic, Jazz, Pacers, Nuggets, Nets, Kings, Raptors, Grizzlies, Clippers, Timberwolves, Cavaliers, Bobcats, Hawks, Warriors and Heat COMBINED!

In their entire fucking histories!

He's also won more then the 76ers, more than the Pistons, more than the Warriors, more than the Trailblazers, more than the Rockets, more than the Bullets/Wizards, more than the Supersonics/Thunder.

Bow down to Tim Duncan.

:lobt::lobt::lobt::lobt:

and the 4 championships are listed right here on the NBA website:

Great great player. Top ten is absurd. No top 10 gets skunked by the SUNS one year and loses to the 8th seed the next.

Been better if he missed the playoffs in his prime like Kobe. Or lost in the first round in his prime like Kobe.

Not even close. Luke, Smush, Kwame and a 7th seed team as opposed to the #1 seed and best record in the league? Oh wait, you lost that too on the last day of the season. My bad.

& it turned out to be an omen, a harbinger of bad tidyings.

But, at least the Spurs didn't get skunked again.

We're talking about in their primes. Of course Duncan would never be on a 7 seed in his prime so thats a complicated comparison.

TBH... Only 6 pts and a miracle shot away.

But as funny as it is to see the haters squirm I'm bummed as well. I wanted the Spurs to win with the Grizz taking em to 7. Oh well.

I dont belive TD ever dealt with such a cast and revolving door at coach. Once things got settled down... well you know.

2007 seems just like yesterday no? :depressed

Broussard is one of the worst analysts on ESPN...and that's saying something. Tim is for sure a top 10 player of all time. I'm sure we all would have loved to see him produce for longer, but tendinosis robbed him of a few more good years. Before his tendinosis he was the best big man in the NBA in 1999 and 2003-2007 (In the other years Shaq was the best).
