I don't think I could put them in any numeric order, but I could narrow it down to 10. I'm curious to see what you guys have because I'm notoriously late in getting around to seeing what're deemed the 'classics.' Just saw Blade Runner the other day and thought it was excellent. Not top ten good, but certainly a movie that has it's place in cinema history and is worth seeing. So in no particular order:

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Empire Strikes Back, The Princess Bride, Aliens, Terminator 2, Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan, Spirited Away, The Dark Knight, and Ghostbusters.

Wow I've never thought of a favorite movie. I always like the next one because I haven't seen it yet. I thought Avatar was brilliant with the new television and sound technology, and it's still fun to watch.

I like the Outlaw Josey Wales and the spaghetti westerns. I also like some foreign films.

It's pretty impossible to put them all in a list for me but I agree with a lot of these. One I didn't see on here yet is Gangs of New York. Definitely one of my favs.

[skeptical smirk]

I'm a little concerned that I'm getting trolled, albeit w/ DPG-level subtlety.

The Birdcage is a classic, if for nothing but the "wah-tu-mahl-in-ness" line from Agador Spartacus alone...

That's such a great scene! "You're right. I'm afraid of your heat." :lmao

One of the rare films where the sharp dialogue is actually matched by the hilarious visuals.

In no particular order:

The Empire Strikes Back
Indiana Jones I and III (I'll count these as 1 movie)
Back to the Future series (1 movie)
Lord of the Rings (1 movie)
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Cowboys/The Searchers/True Grit/Shenandoah
The Bridge on the River Kwai/The Great Escape
Braveheart/The Patriot/Gladiator
Road to Perdition
Groundhog Day/The Search for the Holy Grail
Spartan
Serenity
Cinderella Man (horrible title, great movie)
The Matrix (1 only, the others sucked)
Places in the Heart/Pride and Prejudice (it's useful to find a couple chick flicks you can enjoy).

I know that's more than 10, but it was all I could do to keep myself from listing 50 movies. There are probably several I'm forgetting at the moment that belong near my top 10ish list.

Tombstone, I forgot that one.
