:lmao ok my last thread for the night....:lmao

The Drive For 5 is dead....This was Timmy's last legit chance to catch Kobe...now Kobe can create more space between him and Timmy...In fact I predict the Spurs won't win another title for another 50 yrs...The year will 2061 and most of us will be dead and gone or close to it....Fact is tanking is no longer a viable option because eveyone will be doing it after witnessing this series...

Kobe has yet to win one when he's not riding on the coat-tails of a big man though.

Yeah cause we all know Pau Gasol was a champion before coming to LA.

Isn't it funny how the Grizzlies went 0-12 with Pau, and then all of a sudden they upset a #1 seed and go 4-2 with his younger brother.

doesn't change the fact that Kobe has to ride the coat-tails of big men to win rings.

no son the real count is ...

Duncan - 3 (1999 doesn't count)

Kobe - 1 (.5 credit for being co-leader with Gasol twice, no credit for riding Shaq)

And shit bag won three with Parker. Eat shit, cock sucker.

Right troll man. Cause that is exactly the same. Everyone that just talks rings makes me laugh. Like being in the right place at the right time has nothing to do with it. I'm sure Magic has the legacy he does if he spent most of his career playing for the Atlanta Hawks..

lol at trying to discredit rings. Sad.

Someone should go tell Shaq he still has just 3 rings because he wasn't the clear cut alpha male dog for the ring in Miami...

Yeah cause Parker was a superstar prospect in 2001 and superstar player in 03, 05, 07...

Rings are a huge factor in a players legacy but it is by no means the only factor. Is Russell so much better all time than Wilt because of his rings? Most people don't think he is..

Duncan - 4

Kobe & Shaq - 3

Kobe - 2

That's the legit breakdown. If we want to start using ring totals of guys who clearly weren't the top option at that time then here is my list:

Robert Horry - 7

Dennis Rodman - 5

John Salley - 4

Supported by great guards in Ginobili and Parker. Big men are anchors of a championship run, but great guard play will enable the big men to do their thing.
