totally agree ........ but no matter what round the Lakers go out in, it can't be worse than first round elimination and being a one seed ...... :toast

How are you going to get revenge? Your greatest big man will be a year older next year. Pop watched his minutes, and he still only mustered 12/10 in a game y'all had to have.

Your best player (Manure) is 33 and can't be counted on to stay healthy due to the way he plays with reckless abandon. It happened again this year.

Your best prospect got hardly no time whatsoever this year (to the chegrin of Spur Nation). We know most bigs take time to develop. But still, Pop decides to play 63 year old Dice or 6'3" Blair over Spliltter - who could have learned on the fly with TD. Since he is the successor of TD, it would behoove Pop to give him a ton of minutes. But he didn't.

The best trading chip you guys have is TP to acquire a player that can bang, swat, and rebound to take pressure off of TD. The Lakers traded Shaq and retooled on the fly. 2 championships later, Dr. Buss made the right decision. Will Buford have the same balls to trade away a key player? Doubtful.

I won't even speak on my beloved Lakers because we know that their championship window is still wide open. So Spurfan, when will the Spurs get their revenge? In they year 2030? Serious question. :wakeup

It can. Ending the hopes of a 3peat and killing Kobe's chance at a 5th ring is much bigger than the Spurs 1st round exit.

If you don't believe that, just see how the media responds.

Just being in the position of obtaining a three peat is special...but then again, spurs fans don't know how that feels.

Of course that would be your response, it's quite predictable, but that doesn't make it wrong. Yeah, the Spurs got embarrassed this season, & it's disappointing, but something tells me this will reverberate longer in the Lakerfan's insults, rather than affect Spurs fans psyche.

& Lkrfan, you're not smart enough to engage in an argument with.
