That's what NATO is in Lybia to do right? Kill Gaddafi....
A Nato air strike in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, has killed the son of the Libyan leader, Colonel Gadaffi, a government spokesman has said.
Colonel Gaddafi himself was in the house which was hit by the strike, the spokesman added, but he was unharmed.
His son Saif al-Arab was killed, as well as three of the Libyan leader's grandsons.
What you don't know about the crisis in Lybia...

For once Dan, I have to complement you on the video find.
I wonder why we are so much in a hurry to conspire against Libya. He's been a pretty harmless dictator for some time. Did they find the Stargate there or something? Maybe the Ark of the Covenant?

Well, threatening genocide is the main story that the government is using.

Harmless for sometime? You've got to be kidding me. I'm sure we're involved in shady shit over there, but it's not like it would be any different under any other President. The dude is a fucking asshole, laughing in the world's face after Lockerbie (he even took a shit on the PLO on that one). So he gets no sympathy from me...
To his credit, as much as I detest it, Gaddhafi has kept the same story up about AlQ being behind these attacks, hijacking the youth movement against the government, and his forces being intent on "liberating" the rebel held areas. What we haven't heard is about the ethnic violence against Black Africans, which could very well be occuring.

So Stinger.
If Gaddhafi's Libya is the bar to measure other nations against, then just how many governments are we going to overthrow?

I'm with WC, (can't believe I'm saying this)....there are plenty of bastards to overthrow worldwide, many of which are our allies...Gaddafi is a bastard, but in the big world of bastards, Gaddafi is a small bastard......

Gaddhafi has a far more extensive intel network (with undeniably bad intentions) than the other asshole governments in the world. I really don't care to overthrow him, he seemed to have stability in the country even though he causes instability outside of it. I take the Ivan Drago approach, "If he dies, he dies" and I won't go crying over split dictator brains. Everyone else, it's whatever...if Iraq and Afghanistan are our measuring stick for countries worth invading, we can just about go anywhere. In a war economy, there's always room for a juicy target.
Still curious about the rebel violence against migrants, hopefully I'll get a chance to look into it tomorrow.
