Kidd was tugging on Kobe no doubt, but to drop down to the ground when you reach the ball? Pau can't go over the top of Dirk trying to go for the steal he doesn't have an angle to get to at that point in the game imo.

Good game Mav fans. Your boys never gave up.
LOL at all the haters blaming Kobe who had a great game.
LOL at all the haters crying about fouls. Didn't see any whining on the last one called and one not called i guess. Going to love to see that on replay. Kidd grabs Kobe around the waist but I would not have called it simply cause it wasnt that hard. Play on. From what I saw live though, Kidd followed through and completely hacked Paus arms causing the actual turnover. Regardless, Lakers should never have been in that position to let it hurt them.
LOL at HoBoy continuing with the MVPau BS. King Moron.
LOL at all the San Antonio Mavs fans!
LOL at people blaming not getting Drew the ball was the problem. Drew was not engaged tonight. He wasn't running or fighting for position. It's why PJ benched his ass in the last 5 as he always has to send that message.
LOL at ezau saying he wont be around yet shows up tonight with his Mav's jersey on.
Artest shit the bed this game and was a big reason we lost. His tossing up ridiculous 3's when the Lakers had gone up 16 was absurd. He was though the most consistent Laker in series one so ill give him a pass on this one.
...and loving another T-Shirt from the Organization saying:

I think Phil really fucked himself. Can you really question a guy with 11 rings? Hell yeah. But sooner or later, Phil's bench has to step up and hold these leads ........
Phil melted down with the Odom substitution late in the game and I would have told Kobe that he's starting the fourth quarter because this was a big game. Up seven going into the fourth and at home?? They gotta win that one. He coulda easily called a few time outs to give him some rest ......

Because he was shooting. He usually leads the team in assists and Fish gets 1or 2. Tonight I think Fish had 5 or so (I havent looked as I dont really need stats to evaluate what I have seen in person) Not the mention the numerous bricks by Ron, Pau, and Drew that Kobe passed to.

Deep breath Larry. It's ok. Dallas played about as well as they could. Lakers nowhere close. It could have easily been a Laker blowout without some of the bonehead plays when we went up. They will be fine. Might even be a little blessing in disguise in the motivation arena.

The Lakers are 6-8 in their last 14 games. One of those wins was in OT against Sucktown which finished 2nd to last in the West. Another of those wins was against the Spurs 3rd team end of the bench. The other 4 were against a Whorenets team which lost their last 3 games of the regular season, all by double digits. And now they lose at home to the NBA's all time leading chokers.
The Lakers are playing their worst basketball since losing to the Cavs. You can flip the switch as many times as you'd like Lakerfan, the light bulb is burnt the fuck out. You can meet the Spurs at South Padre Island next week for their fishing trip.

As I pointed out earlier, Dallas played well, but not near 'as well as they could'. They almost gave away the game in a 3 min stretch to end the 2nd quarter, which was really sloppy play.
On the other hand, I doubt you'll see Fisher scoring 5 of his 8 points inside the paint again... or handing out 6 dimes unless his teammates catch fire... he's been averaging 3 dimes/game this postseason...
That said, you would think Bynum can only go up from there...

You mean like last year when they lost 7 of their last 10 and barely scraped by a rookie Thunder team to only end up with #16?
It's a 7 game series. There is no better coach at making the proper adjustments. Mavs played great and still should have lost. It's ours to lose. We gave one away. No problem. Is there any kind of stat for winning % on the opponents flor or closeout % on the away floor? I'd be interested to hear it.

Dont know why the Mavs "should have lost".
They shot themselves in the knee with the 4p before haltime and with 3 straight TO at the start of the 3rd. That was pretty much the 12+ lead for the Lakers. Just caused by brainfarts.

They are who they are Larry. Drew simply was not motivated tonight and it showed in his simply jogging down the floor. When hes running he gets to his spot in the lane and its over, regardless who is garding him. When he cruises he sets up on the block and has to make moves. Tonight he didnt have them. Quite a few people were yelling at him to get his ass in gear, including PJ.

Been hearing it for years. Right before the parades! :toast
Now the real FACT is...
Your Spurs are done and on vacation at the hands of the #8 farm team. Now, while our boys can recover like they have so many times and win this, yours have no chance.
Now that is the true meaning of "done".
Yes, a #8 farm team which just snatched HCA from the team you "barely scraped by" last year.
See ya in Padre, hijo.
