I'm going on record to say that the Clips will be a playoff team in 2011-2012 season:

Starters:
PG Mo Williams
SG Eric Gordon (all star)
SF Jamario Moon
PF Blake Griffin (all star)
C DeAndre Jordan

2nd Unit:
PG Eric Bledsoe
SG Randy Foye
SF Ryan Gomes
PF Diogu and Craig Smith
C Caveman

A full training camp for the above lineup will make them a really nice team. I'm willing to bet they have a better record than the Spurs. So I definitely see them not only making the playoffs but having a higher seed than the Spurs.

Discuss. :toast

I think you may be right. BSPN's Mock Draft (http://espn.go.com/nba/lottery2011/mockdraft) doesn't have the Clips with a lottery pick. I'll amend my post - thanks.

Even without a lottery pick, the Clips will finish with a better record and a higher WC playoff seed then the Spurs. You heard it here first. :lol

I've told you this multiple times but only because I truly believe it, you should end yourself. By doing so you would be doing the community a great service...

what truth?

Stay on topic. Will the Clips have a better team than a team that won 61 games the year before? Truth is, I'm saying they won't. What say you? :wakeup

tbh I could see the Clips breaking the bulls record of 72 wins.

Griffin who has the strength of Malone, post moves of Duncan, quickness of Rose, and shooting touch of Nowitzki combined with Deandre who has the athleticism of Howard and strength of Shaq, will create the most dominant frontline in the NBA

The worst part is the lol emoticons at the end of the posts. Thats super shitty. I guess he figures that punches up his shit posts somehow. Just makes things worse imo.

Well it's tough to predict because...

From what I've gathered, there are two types of Clipper fans on the board:
A.) suicidal ones ("lottery pick, here we come")
B.) blind homers ("I'm not worried about the Lakers...")

Whatever happened to the moderates, the Rudolph Giulliani's if you will?

Beating the defending NBA champs on the road, you will note, is not really a birth right for the Clippers even if those guys did have 1 playoff appearance in the not so distant past.

A similar principal applies when predicting Cowboy games; I won't take a win in Indianopolis for granted next year because we had a good run back in the '90's.

This Clippers team, in 2012, is going to be a very respectable third best in the mighty Pacific Division...

Tbh in order for the Clips to make any noise next year they gotta hope for a breakout from Bledsoe or upgrade at SF.
